Welcome aboard. Mike is trying to figure out how to install a donor app through pay pal for this project.

Once the cash starts to pick up, be prepared to help. There is plenty of work to do.

Thank you!!

She still has the original 289 . But I did a mild build 2yrs back, nothing major. Made it a little meaner ,put a shift kit in and backed it up with an 8.8 with 4.10 gears & rachet shifter. A fun Footbrake car, but I believe I'll make her street legal and simply cruise her around from now on... racing took it's toll on the old parts lol.

Nice to meet you too man !

Welcome Neil!!

Welcome over to our website! I am so pleased to have you here!  I see you interested in Land Speed Racing.  Where do you go to attend those events?

Whether you are looking to attend events or when you are interested in helping promote and publicize events, we are pleased to help bring a broader awareness about auto, truck and motorcycle events throughout the US. There are so many things we can do together to increase attention to our mutual interest in "wheels". The more members and participants you get to join and "RSVP", the higher ranking I can push for your club/event on the search engines. Please note that we provide a unique URL for all events you post here, and this is good to use in emails and other links.

We are eager to see some photos (and maybe videos) of your Sierra, as well as  the various other vehicles and race cars you favor, and all the events you enjoy, too. We want as many photos as we can get. You may have heard that we are collecting One Million photos of cars, bikes & trucks! Please announce this at any shows you attend, as we want to get the word out! It is good to write about your "wheels" adventures on the blog, as we all enjoy stories from our members.
As you can see, one of the real strengths of our website is the feature that any member can add events whenever they find one that have not been listed! You do not have to "submit" through emails or the postal service, etc.
If I can help at all with any of your projects, call me at 770-883-0160.
Sincerely,
Mike Thies

1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL

Introduced in late 1966 for a short, single-year production run, the 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL holds a special place in the “Pagoda” lineage (W113 series) as the rarest variant, with only about 5,196 units built. Positioned between the earlier 230SL and the later 280SL, the 250SL…

A Bite of History: by Mike Thies

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…

1948 Rover P3 Saloon

The 1948 Rover P3 Saloon marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of British motoring. Introduced in the immediate aftermath of World War II, the P3 was a bridge between prewar craftsmanship and the modern engineering ethos that would come to define Rover’s future. Although its styling retained many traditional elements, including an upright grille, separate fenders, and rear-hinged front…
