This was started several years ago, but I have not ever seen a show dedicated to this. I believe we need to exposed children to our "Sport" and especially those that may never have had the opportunity. I would like to hear your thoughts on this and maybe we can plan a show built around it.....thoughts????

I saw an Ad in Streetscene Magazine and went to their website. It directed me to the SEMA website. I sent them an email looking for more informtion. It will be interesting what type of response I receive. I have also spoken to Belinda with Social Circle Cruizers and we have begun discussion on hosting an event focusing on Kids. If anyone has any ideas, please share them either directly to me or on this blog

Would you see if they want to "play"? Maybe a representative can come to the next TWG meeting?

Yes, they are still around. Big brother's /big sister's is a great organization. I personally have been involved with them for a number of years through United Way.

I think this is a great idea. There once was an organization called Big Brothers & Sisters which hooked up healthy adults with teens who are neglected or struggling. I wonder if they are still around. Car shows would be a good way for them to get involved. Maybe we could have a show to benefit them, as well. I will check on them and get back. Mike T.
