The story of the Lady
Terri Waddell attended South Cobb High School, class of 1985. After purchasing a 1969 Camaro, she painted it pink to match a feather she had. So thus, the Pink Lady was born. Back then, more people knew Terri as ‘Pinky’ and the car as ‘Spoiled Brat’. Terri had a lot of issues with the car, as you would expect. In 1987, I was born, and my mother, Terri, no longer had time to deal with a car she couldn’t keep running. It was parked. In 1992, there was a string of murders around six flags. I was standing only feet away from my mother when the man came in, shot, and robed her as she was working at the Circle K. She died instantly, and by the grace of God, I was over looked. The Pink car was all but forgotten. In 2006, I started trying to figure out a way to fix the car, that was now just sitting in the yard rusting away. In 2008, the ‘Pink Lady’ was reborn, and repainted my mothers color. Far from finished, but very much on the way, the pink Camaro is my memorial to my mother. After talking to friends of hers and my own family, my goal it to make the car what my mother had wished she could have done.

What a great tribute! The '69 Camaro is my favorite car. I've had a couple of them and regret selling any of them. Can't wait to see it!!!

What a remarkable story! I regret I missed you at Autozone. If you were there, I was so busy I must have not found you to talk to.
