DESCRIPTION:The Carlisle Truck Nationals and its show within the show,
  the Big Rig Show and Shine, are one of the largest and most action-pa
 cked truck events in the world. The weekend is a must-attend event and
  has been the epicenter for all things truck since 1991. Come to Carli
 sle for a great array of lowered mini trucks, lifted 4x4s, chromed out
  big rigs, SUV’s, custom vans and the perfectly restored classics. T
 he weekend celebrates trucks of all kinds. Annually, more than 2,000 t
 rucks are part of the judged showfield but more than judged excellence
 , there is something for the entire family to enjoy. Kids ages 12 and 
 under are admitted free, allowing them and their families to enjoy mon
 ster truck shows. Better yet, attendees can climb in for a monster tru
 ck ride around the grounds. The family fun continues with the Kids at 
 Carlisle Activity Center, shopping, parts buying at the Manufacturers 
 Midway and much more. In addition to the family fun there will be vari
 ous competitions with prizes awarded and celebrity guests. The pulse-p
 ounding fun continues with special contests, including burnouts and be
