SUMMARY:\"CARS FOR CHORUS\" - DOUGLASVILLE, GEORGIA
DESCRIPTION:Turner Middle School chorus will be hosting its first Annu
 al \"Cars for Chorus\" Car Show to raise funds for the choral departme
 nt.  The funds will help the students be able to participate in choru
 s festivals including the USA Music Festival in Valdosta, Georgia this
  year.  The funds will also be used to purchase music, educational so
 ftware, and musical equipment.\nThe car show will feature 4 main cate
 gories, including \"DOWN MEMORY LANE\" for classic, antique, and vin
 tage cars (cut off 1974).  The other categories are \"CUSTOM COOL\"
  (custom trucks, low riders, and donks.), \"MY PRIDE & JOY\" (Stan
 dard Cars from 1975 to present), and \"MOTORCYCLES FOR MUSIC\" (Moto
 rcycles).  A $100 prize will be given to the winner of each category
  (decision by judges) and the chorus students will choose a winner 
 in each category and a student choice plaque will be awarded for eac
 h category.  There will also be an overall people's choice award.  
 Registration begins at 7:00 A. M. and all vehicles should be register
 ed by 8:45 A.M.  The registration fee is $20 and the early registrati
