DESCRIPTION:Cars & ‘Q for the Cause began in 2009 as a small get-tog
 ether of Choate Construction employees who loved cars.  Over time, th
 e show grew into what it’s become today - an incredible event with o
 ver 600 patrons, live music, bbq, continuous pours of your favorite br
 ews, and 100+ classic, muscle, and exotic cars.  All to raise funds f
 or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!  Last year, Cars & 'Q proudly dona
 ted over $175,000 to the CF Foundation.\nThe show is born out of a lov
 e of cars and an intense desire to cure Cystic Fibrosis. Choate’s hi
 story with Cystic Fibrosis and the CF Foundation began in 1989 at the 
 inception of the company.  Shortly before founding the company, Milla
 rd Choate’s daughter met her best friend Leann at the age of two.  
 A year later, Millard was working away in Choate’s first office (his
  home’s basement) and received a call he would never forget.  Leann
  was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis.  There was no cure. And the life
  expectancy was in the teens.\nFrom that day forward, supporting the C
 F Foundation has been an inherent part of Choate’s culture and Cars 
 & ‘Q is the main fundraising initiative. Choate thought, “What bet
 ter way to raise money than with stellar cars, super BBQ, and sweet mu
 sic?!”  And thus the show became what it is today.\nLeann is 30 yea
 rs old now.  Advances in research and therapy are truly impacting her
  life, all funded by the CF Foundation and in turn, Cars & ‘Q.  \nC
