 77.\nMonday, July 4th.  Open Car Show from 10am-4:30pm, the Lumpkin C
 ounty Administration Building and Library complex on East Main Street 
 will be the location for this popular event featuring over 150 Show Ca
 rs, Customs, Hot Rods and newer Special Interest vehicles from all ove
 r the Southeast.   Vehicle entrants enjoy  the professionally judge
 d show, Unique Awards, Downtown Celebrations, multiple music performan
 ces and the 5pm Parade of Winners through the Historic Downtown Square
 .  Last year over 20,000 watched the free parade and fireworks over t
 he University.  Spectator admission is free, but charitable donations
  of any amount help fund The Community Helping Place food bank and vol
 unteer medical/dental services provider in our area.  Dahlonega is fa
 mous for their own family oriented activities.  This year’s Indepen

 rg.  Of course, Dahlonega’s 17 famous unique downtown eateries and 
 63 quaint shops will be open to engage the whole family.\n \nMake a w
