DESCRIPTION:After last year’s huge success, doubling in size to over
  175 cars, on Saturday July 16 Edgefield will host the third annual Cr
 uise-In on the Square from 4 to 7 p.m. People with classic cars, truck
 s or motorcycles are invited to park on the square and enjoy the atmos
 phere of dozens of car enthusiasts. Spectators are welcome, but asked 
 to park outside of the square area to make room for the Cruise In atte
 ndees. There will be a live broadcast from WKSX on the Square playing 
 Oldies.\nBeth Padgett owner of The House Next Door gift and antique sh
 op on Jeter Street right behind the Courthouse downtown is the creator
  of this new event for Edgefield. Beth caught the car bug from her Dad
 dy, Tiny Black of Trenton, who was a car enthusiast for many years. Be
 th has been a member of the Casual Corvette Club of the CSRA for over
