DESCRIPTION:\nIn September of 2012 we will reprise the 2008 Carolinas 
 rally. The start/end point will be in Charlotte area. In 2008, the fav
 orite stop on the trip was the Biltmore Estate. The Biltmore is an ama
 zing experience. The 250 room chateau is surrounded by gardens designe
 d by Frederik Law Olstead and situated on 8000 breathtaking acres in t
 he Great Smokey Mountains.\nIt is the largest private home ever built 
 in the USA and is considered the best house tour in the country. Since
  our last visit the estate has added Antler Hill Village, shops and ex
 hibits, adjacent to the winery. We will also tour the Dennis Carpenter
  factory. Dennis Carpenter manufactures Ford restoration parts. The C.
  Grier Beam Truck Museum has great exhibits tracing the fascinating hi
 story of Carolina Trucking, and all the trucks are the right color, re
 d.\nWe will travel the beautifully scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. We recei
 ved a call from the curator of Wheels Through Time motorcycle museum i
 n Maggie Valley. He heard that Freedom Road was returning to the Carol
 ina’s and wanted us to know that they would be delighted to see us a
 gain.\nOf course, there will be NASCAR stops too, including Memory Lan
 e and Hendricks Motorsports. On Thursday the 13th we will enjoy a vict
 ory dinner. This is one of the finest areas of the country to tour and
  we’re looking forward to going back there and showing this great ar
 ea to folks who didn’t get to go with us in 2008. *\n\nFor more info
