  The GSRA is one of the oldest street rod associations in the USA, ha
 ving been formed in 1976. The GSRA promotes the car hobby in general a
 nd is open to all walks of life. All anyone needs is a healthy interes
 t in automobiles. You don't have to even own a car!! Spouses and signi
 ficant others are welcome at our all our events. In fact many spouses 
 run the 50/50 drawings and participate in the swap meet. Without spous
 al support the GSRA would not run as smoothly.  A couple things that m
 ake us different...we do not have a cut off date for our events, like 
 some rod associations. Our members have all sorts of automobiles - sto
 cks, rods, trucks, motorcycles, and customs. National Events (NSRA) th
 ough, do have a 1948 cut-off date. We have regular monthly meetings th
 at encompass discussion of old and new GSRA business, selection of the
  Car of the Month, purchase of 50/50 tickets, and meet new members/gre
