 Day Parade\nMonday, May 30, 2016 @ 10:00 a.m.\nThe Dacula Memorial Day
  Parade once again steps off for the 23rd time on Monday, May 30, 20
 16 at 10:00 am.  The parade takes place rain or shine.  There is no
  rain date.\nThe parade begins at Hebron Baptist Church and proceeds d
 own Dacula Road, turns right on Second Ave, crosses Broad Street and e
 nds at Dacula High School.\nFounded by Marvin Atherton, the Dacula Me
 morial Day parade has been a proud tradition in Dacula since 1994.  T
 he parade has grown over the years and remains the only Memorial Day p
 arade in Metro Atlanta, largest in the the state of Georgia and one of
  the largest in our nation with more than 150 units participating in t
 he parade each year!\nFamilies begin to line the street hours before t
 he parade begins.  Averaging 150 units in the parade each year, there
  are 10,000+ spectators lining the parade route when the parade step
 s off at 10:00 am. \nThe Dacula Memorial Day parade is one of the mo
 st high profile events in the metro Atlanta area on Memorial Day.  It
  is important that we take this opportunity to honor the sacrifice mad
 e by thousands of Americans who died guarding our precious liberties a
 nd way of life.  As founder of the Dacula Memorial Day parade, it is 
 my goal to see that today's youth understand the significance of Memor
 ial Day.  For this reason, every parade unit is to focus on honoring 
 our Veterans and display patriotism.\nThe parade features Veterans, Ve
 terans organizations, active and reserve service men and women, active
  and restored military vehicles, marching bands, Scouts, churches, c
 ommunity groups, custom designed floats, local businesses, horses, a
