DESCRIPTION:The New Rider Course follows the proven curriculum of the 
 Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Basic RiderCourse tailored for begi
 nning riders or those returning to the sport. During the classroom int
 eractive sessions, expectations will be set, you'll learn about the di
 fferent types of motorcycles, their controls & operation, MotorClothes
 ® for comfort & protection, how to create a strategy for riding in tr
 affic & dealing with critical situations, and the basic skills to prep
 are you for the riding on the range. You'll find out how alcohol and o
 ther drugs affect your ability to ride safely. You will also get a cha
 nce to trial fit different motorcycles & MotorClothes®, with a look i
 nto the Harley-Davidson® lifestyle through the dealership. During the
  range we'll start you off with familiarization of the controls, clutc
 h & throttle control, straight line riding, turning, shifting and stop
 ping. Then, you will progress to more interactive and advanced street 
 skills, slow speed tight maneuvers, braking, turning, and swerving tec
 hniques. The course concludes with a Skill Evaluation and Knowledge Te
