DESCRIPTION:\nAntique Boat Show & Porsche Show\nHartwell Marina in Har
 twell, Georgia\nThe Carolinas Region and Peachstate Region have again 
 been invited to participate in a joint show with the Blue Ridge Chapte
 r of the Antique Wooden Boat Association. This note is to provide you 
 with information about the Antique Boat Show & Porsche Show being plan
 ned for Saturday, April 13th. About 50 Porsches participated in last y
 ear's event and those in attendance voiced interest in particpating on
  a regular basis. The show will again be held at the Hartwell Marina i
 n Hartwell, Georgia.\nThe Antique Wooden Boat Show has been an annual 
 event since 1993. It is hosted by the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Antiqu
 e Boat Association. Last year, we were contacted by Larry Torrence of 
 the Lake Hartwell Marketing Alliance, requesting joint participation i
 n the event by members of the Porsche Club Carolinas and Peachstate Re
 gions to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lake Hartwell. For your ref

 artwellmarina.com\nThe organizers are expecting 50 or more classic woo
 den boats to participate in this year's show. We are looking for about
  45 Porsches to participate as well to add to the interest of the show
 . We have included some photos of last year's show to give you an idea
  of the types of boats and vehicles in attendance. Most boast are Chri
 s Craft and Gar Wood models.\nAs for the Porsche part of the show, any
  and all Porsches are eligible. The plans for the event include the fo
 llowing:\n\nThe PCA cars will be the only vehicles parked inside the m
 arina venue.\nAll show spectators will park off-site and be shuttled i
 n to the venue.\nThe Porsches will be parking on the paved lot in fron
 t of the marina office building.\nAll PCA members are welcome to atten
 d but only the first 45 RSVPs will be guarenteed inclusion in the show
  and parking within the venue.\nThe actual show hours are 10:00am to 4
 :00pm.\nPCA participants would meet at a designated \"staging\" area a
 bout two miles from the venue, between 8:15am and 8:45am.\nAt 8:50am, 
 the Porsche group would parade into the venue from the staging area ac
 companied by a police escort.\nPCA participants would be expected to r
 emain on display until at least 2:00pm.\nWe will be displaying our Reg
 ional banners as a part of the display.\nShow organizers will have a p
 rofessional photographer on site to take pictures of any Porsche owner
 's who want to pose their vehicles under the club banner with the wood
 en boats in the background.\n\nIn addition to the boats and cars on di
 splay, there will be food vendors, arts & crafts vendors, activities f
 or children (build a boat, RC controlled boats, T-shirts, etc.) and a 
 number of boat rides with their owners for PCA attendees.\nThis will b
 e a joint Regional event between Carolinas and Peachstate.\nAll RSVPs 
 for participants are due no later than April 3rd and should be sent t
 o John Budinich atupstate-ad@carolinas-pca.com. We will need to limit 
 participation to 45 vehicles but additional spectators are more than w
