DESCRIPTION:\r\nThis is an annual event sponsored by The Exchange Clu
 b of Blackshear. We had to cancel last year due to Covid, but we are 
 excited to announce that we will be able to have the event this year!\
 r\n \r\n\r\nAll proceeds are given back to the community to benefitÂ
  child abuse prevention, athletic boosters, EMT's and firefighters, Sp
 ecial Olympics, food pantry, Book of Golden Deeds, toys for the needy,
  officer of the year, food baskets, Hospice Satilla, Magnolia House, n
 ursing home, deputy of the year, Southeast Cancer, Quick Think, studen
 ts of the month and much more.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe Pecan Festival of Georgi
 a\r\nBlackshear City Park\r\nBlackshear Georgia              Â
    \r\n9 a.m. - 5 p.m.\r\n\r\nEntertainment will include a classic ca
 r SHOW AND SHINE with Peoples Choice Award, Sound of Silver Band, B
 lue Diamond Dancers, local area bands, dancers and a performance show
  choir. \r\n\r\nWe will also have music throughout the day: classic 
 rock, alternative, and country.  \r\n\r\nActivities will include The
  Georgia State Pecan Pie Contest, Inflatables, Arts and  Craft Vend
 ors, Food Vendors, and other activities!\r\n\r\nWe are working hard to
  make this event the best ever. The festival will start on Saturday mo
 rning at 9am at Downtown City Park, with the opening ceremonies of pra
 yer, presentation of colors, and national anthem. There will be entert
 ainment throughout the day for kids and adults alike.\r\n \r\nFree Ad
