With the threat of severe weather associated with the approaching storm and the potential for unsafe conditions in our a rea, we believe postponing the festival is the most responsible course of action.\r\n\r\n**The safety and well-being of our volunteers, exhi bitors, sponsors, vendors, guests, and staff must always come first.** With so many moving parts involved in producing an event of this magn itude, we cannot responsibly risk the safety of those who have worked so hard to make it possible.\r\n\r\nWhile this is an unprecedented ste p for our festival, we firmly believe it is the right decision. Our co mmitment to delivering an exceptional automotive celebration, while su pporting our friends and beneficiaries at **VetBuds**, remains stronge r than ever.\r\n\r\nWe are preparing our official public announcement and ask that everyone refrain from communicating the date change exter nally until that announcement has been released. We will then begin co ordinating with our sponsors, registered participants, vendors, volunt eers, and community partners to ensure a smooth transition to November 14.\r\n\r\nI want to personally thank each of you for your extraordin ary dedication, flexibility, and understanding.
