 is 1958 Studebaker Golden Hawk was donated to Miles Through Time Autom
 otive Museum by Dr. Karl Peace in January of 2021. This is one of 87
 8 Golden Hawks ever made for 1958 and MTT is lucky enough to have this
  beautiful car donated to the museum.\r\nWHAT IS MUSEUM QUALITY?\r\nWh
 en it comes to displaying vehicles at Miles Through Time Automotive Mu
 seum we don’t really have a requirement on the condition of the vehi
 cle.  We look more for the story behind the vehicle to be able to sha
 re what makes it special for visitors to see.  This means we have som
 e vehicles on display that are better than new and we have some on dis
 play that could use a full restoration, but we’ve chosen to display 
 them as is.\r\nIn the case of the 1958 Studebaker Golden Hawk on displ
 ay at MTT. This car is really pretty nice, the interior is in great sh
 ape and the car runs fantastic.  It is really only the condition of t
 he paint that the car could use some love. At some point in the car’
 s life, it was repainted and it hasn’t held up well.\r\nMTT is super
  grateful that Dr. Karl Peace chose Miles Through Time to donate one o
 f his vehicles to the museum and we’d like to give him and the car t
 he honor of getting a fresh coat of shiny gold paint.\r\nSince this St
 udebaker is such a rare special car the museum feels the car is worthy
  of a makeover. Once complete this will become another vehicle MTT can
  take to concourses and other large events to share with even more peo
 ple and help promote the museum.\r\nHOW ARE WE GOING TO RESTORE THE ST
 UDEBAKER GOLDEN HAWK?\r\nThe restoration of the Studebaker Golden Hawk
  has gotten a kick start thanks to a few donated project vehicles that
  have gone towards the restoration of the Studebaker.  The total proj
 ect cost is $9,000 and the work will be completed by CCR Body Shop in 
 Ila, Georgia.  MTT has already raised $4,000 for the project and only
  needs to raise $5,000 more within 6 months. \r\nMiles Through Time i
