Welcome Miguel!
We are so pleased to have you joining us! We are looking forward to pictures & videos of your and other vehicles that you enjoy. Add me as a Friend and I can help with special events, announcements and stuff.
On another note we are trying to pull together some last minute shows/cruise-ins to benefit an orphanage in Haiti and the Red Cross (What a horrific catastrophe there!). Check out the Georgia Car Clubs Show hosted by the Social Circle Kruizer's on Feb 13th. Hope you can make it --Link to Georgia Car Clubs' Show--

Actually it is a 1942 Mercury 114 business coupe, made just like a 1942 Ford Buisness coupe with Mercury emblems on it and a Canadian built Flat Head V8. They were starting to seperate Lincoln/FORD/Mercury dealers in Canada in 1942 and needed a cheap car to sell at the Mercury/Lincoln Dealers, so they made the Mercury 114, American Mercurys were on a 116 inch wheel base, this car is on a 114 inch wheel base, it may also be a "Black-out" edition since it has less crome/stainless on it than most 1942 Fords they were doing that late in production cutting back on stainless, chrome, nickel, brass for war materials. Production was stopped on February 10th 1942 for all Mercury cars.
Hey Miguel,
Thanks. Looking good. There is a guy you and Moe spoke with on Saturday that is bringing in 2 valve covers for his kids cars Wednesday night. I promised them back by Friday! (uh oh the shop techs are gonna kill me)LOL! I told him we had hundreds of other patterns to choose from but he said he wanted them to look like the one you showed him. I also posted a link to this site under the "Retailers Tab" on our site. Thanks again. See you this weekend. I'm going to Rod Run Friday but will be back on Saturday.
