Walt I had a Kawasaki 3cyl 2 stroke 750 that was making about 220 hp. In a Rickman Frame The problem was the drum brakes and wire wheel, They flexed, a lot!

If the rear tire bit and got traction you had to fear that the alloy Kawi wheel might snap a few spokes. Even with just under 400 lbs. The drums would fade stopping from 150 and be almost faded before you got down to 80. I eventually found a good use for that motorcycle, it made a good dining table with a round glass top. The frame was great!
