Also, please post this great show on www.southwestwheelsevents.com. It is a younger site, but we will be developing it extensively in the next few months for members and events. Let me know how I can help.

Welcome Friend!!
Welcome over to our website! First, I want to thank you for posting your show. I do ask, however, that you change you name to a personal name, as this calendar is a social network, as well, and is a collection of individuals, not organizations. You are welcome, though, to set up a fan club or group for Blue Ribbon Rally and ask you members to join in.
We are pleased to help bring a broader awareness about your event. There are so many things we can do to increase attention to your project. We already have a good sized group planning to attend. Please get as many friends and participants as possible to RSVP on your event page (it now has its own URL) as this helps us in increasing rankings on Facebook and major search engines for it. Include the URL in your correspondence and Facebook entries. Also, please announce our site at the event itself and have your happy participants post photos and stories, this helps promote your next event, as well.
I am looking forward to some great photos (and maybe videos) of the various vehicles you favor, and events you enjoy, too. We want as many photos as we can get. We can upload 100 at a time! (You may have heard that we are collecting One Million photos of cars, bikes & trucks! Please announce this at your car show as we want to get the word out!) It is good to write about your "wheels" adventures on the blog, as we all enjoy stories from our members.
As you can see, one of the real strengths of our website is the feature that any member can add events whenever they find one that we have overlooked! You do not have to "submit" through emails or the postal service, etc.
Please invite your family and friends as this helps the to get the word our and improves your social network communications. If I can help at all with any of your projects, call me at 770-883-0160.
Sincerely,
Mike Thies

1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL

Introduced in late 1966 for a short, single-year production run, the 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL holds a special place in the “Pagoda” lineage (W113 series) as the rarest variant, with only about 5,196 units built. Positioned between the earlier 230SL and the later 280SL, the 250SL…

A Bite of History: by Mike Thies

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…

A Bite of History: 1948 Rover P3 Saloon

A Bite of History: by Mike Thies

1948 Rover P3 Saloon

The 1948 Rover P3 Saloon marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of British motoring. Introduced in the immediate aftermath of World War II, the P3 was a bridge between prewar craftsmanship and the modern engineering ethos that would come to define Rover’s future. Although its styling retained many traditional elements, including an upright grille, separate fenders, and rear-hinged front…
