Thank you for posting the event in the calendar. To get the word out I would suggest you create a club or group or send friend invitations for members to join you. This will afford you a way to send messages and reminders to the whole group of your followers at once. You may also be better served by posting this in the Forums. The Blog is for articles and stories.
