    Welcome Howard!
I agree about great memories with a '66 Mustang convertible I had during the summer of '68. It was a kind of turquoise color which I really didn't like, but the girls at the beach liked is so I didn't complain :-) How about some photos?

Miguel has been an inspiration and his encouragement has meant a lot to me. I can see why you liked him. I am working on a similar site for all the wheels events in California. Would you be willing to look at it and give me a hand getting it going? It's only two days old and I am fretting a bit on how to get it rolling. www.westcoastwheelsevents.com Let me know what you think? Mike T.

Sure Mike, any friend of Miguel's is already a friend for me :) I'll give you another glimpse into Miguel's character - my nephew James was diagnosed with cancer at 18 - 4 years ago. Last year we went out to see my extended family in Birmingham, as I mentioned, my cousin Kent Feenker volunteers at the Barber Track and not only got 18-20 of us admission to the racetrack, but also the vintage Motorsports Museum! Miguel was our host at the racetrack, he was gracious and amazing. He gave us a tour of the facilities, took us up to the press room and spent an hour gving a history of the track and answering questions, and on top of all that, finagled a way for James to ride shotgun in a car doing prelims - in traffic! They hooked James up in a water-cooled vest, and off they went! Talk about a lifetime memory - and it was all thanks to Miguel. The flaggers gave James a special salute / wave on the last lap (sorry, don't remember the technical term), and then they signed and gave James the checkered flag. Amazing, amazing memories none of us will ever forget! Sorry for the long story, but I thought you'd like to know :) I have pictures of this if you're interested too...

I would be happy to take a look at the CA site... as for giving a hand getting it going, methinks your web skills are far superior to mine - I am impressed with the SW site!! Have been through many of it's pages, you've done a remarkable job. And I'm an IT guy, so that's a hearty compliment! Yeah, I know it's a collaborative work but I'm really impressed. You've got a great thing going!! I'll sign back in again and give you my feedback. Good to "meet" you, this is a great concept and I'm looking for my '66 'stang pics :) I've actually had 3 '66 mustangs...
    Blessings,
