Twelveth Annual Grandfather’s Day Car Show and Barbecue
Mike's is hosting the Grandfather’s Day Car Show again for the Grandfather of all cars – the Model "A" Ford with a Barbecue at Mike’s Place in Maysville, GA, In the past we have had over 100 Model A’s and over 500 people! We’re hoping to make it even bigger this year!
There will be a charge for the BBQ lunch consisting of Barbecue, Cole Slaw, Brunswick Stew, Bread, Iced Tea and Dessert. - $10.00 per plate. A Reservation Form can be found on our website. Deadline for reservations is May 25th.
We are looking forward to every Model A owner and his or her family driving or trailering his or her restored or unrestored Model A to Mike’s. If you want to bring more than one Model A, please do so. There will be no judging, just showing, no swap meet or flea market stuff, please!
We recommend you bring folding chairs, also if you have a light folding table we suggest you bring it for yourself. If you are needing to pick up an order – please call it in, in advance – so we can have it ready for you to hopefully eliminate the long wait for parts.
So, please mark your calendar for nothing else on Saturday, June 7th, and make plans to celebrate Grandfather’s Day at Mike’s.

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster
The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…
