Denton Main Street Association proudly presents the 20th annual Arts & Autos in Downtown Denton on Saturday, September 14th, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. around the square and beyond, 110 W. Hickory Street. Approximately 10,000 attendees will make the trek to check out hot rods, classic and custom cars, trucks, and even motorcycles! More than 75 trophies are given to winners in car, truck, and motorcycle classes in addition to the cash prizes awarded to our Best of Show winners.
Attendees can enjoy an array of activities throughout the day including a silent auction inside the courthouse, fine arts/crafts vendors, hands-on arts/crafts and games, Chalk Fest, and live music. This year’s Chalk Fest will attract over 100 artists who will add spark and life to the sidewalks downtown with their incredible talent in chalk art. Artists of every age are welcome to contribute to this stunning display. With such an array of activities and live entertainment, there is no question that this is the ideal way to spend a day or a weekend in Denton. Did we mention that general admission to this event is FREE?
Pre-registration for the Car Show ends on September 10th, but keep an eye on the Arts & Autos web site for updates as deadlines are subject to change based on availability. Pre-registration for Chalk Fest is open until Sept. 10th, and registration the day of the event is subject to availability.
