The scenic roads of Maryland's Baltimore and Harford counties will be the setting of the 28th Orphan Car Tour on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Passing through areas such as Hunt Valley, My Lady's Manor and Worthington Valley, the tour's route will meander past horse farms and estates, villages and pastures. As in past years drivers will receive printed directions so they can take the tour at their own speed, and part of the day will be spent visiting places of interest along the route. A late-afternoon dinner at Friendly Farms Restaurant in Upperco will cap the day's itinerary. See website, http://www.orphancartour.org/ for a flyer, description and history of the Tour event. The Orphan Car Tour is open to all “orphan” (discontinued-make) vehicles at least 25 years old, and is sponsored by six local chapters of national “orphan” car clubs. Further information is available from Jon Battle, (540) 364-1770, or tourdirector@orphancartour.org.
