Event Description
This year we again have several special guests attending our car show. Come out and meet Mark & Digger from Discovery Channel’s hit TV series Moonshiners, former NASCAR Busch Series (LMSD) Champion LD Ottinger, and others. So, grab a few Moonshine Rod Run show shirts and get’em autographed! Sample food and ice cream from our local vendors, enjoy complimentary pool passes, and participate in a poker run and other games. The Moonshine Rod Run is a “Family Friendly” gathering.
This event has been presented for the last 37 years by The Hard Times Street Rod Club, a 501.C.3 Charitable Organization chartered in the State of Tennessee. Proceeds from The Moonshine Rod Run benefit organizations and individuals in local East Tennessee communities in accordance with needs identified by the club members.
