This event is a proven community favorite, and this year
promises to be another day of fun for the entire family.
Attractions will include: Airplane and Helicopter Rides- Fixed wing aircraft and helicopter will be on hand to offering event-goers a bird’s eye view of Pickens County. In addition, an open cockpit, bi-wing Steerman will be available for those seeking an aviation experience akin to early years of aviation.
Custom and Classic Car Show- Join over 150 car owners for one of the best classic and custom car shows in the Upstate. Winners will receive a trophy. “Best
in Show” will be a judged event, and the “People’s Choice” award will be given to the car that receives the most cash votes.
Between admiring cars and airplane rides, spectators can enjoy: lunch or snack from Bates Masonic Lodge and Yoder’s of Meece Mill; a display of radio-controlled aircraft by the Raptors RC (radio controlled) Club; and the chance to win exciting giveaway items.
Proceeds: All proceeds from the event will benefit Pickens County Meals on Wheels (PCMOW), a 501 (c)(3), non-profit, charitable organization funded through grants, fundraising events and donations from individuals, churches, church organizations, businesses, schools, civic groups, and the United Way. The organization does not seek or receive any state or federal funding.
