Description

This weekend of racing is our traditional "All-Girl Turn 7" event benefiting the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization that carries on the fight against breast cancer worldwide.  We will host a Double South Atlantic Road Racing Championship Series event (that's 2 Regional Races during the weekend), plus an Atlanta Region Pro-IT Series race. We also plan (tentatively) to run a Southeast Division SCCA ECR event during the weekend.

During the Saturday lunch hour Track Tours are routinely offered so Participants and Spectators alike can enjoy a pleasant drive around the 2.54 mile circuit. Street cars are allowed on-track at safe speeds - no special safety equipment is needed. Drivers are asked to donate to our Worker Fund and sign a waiver to get on track.  Information about the assembly point and time will be posted in the Media Center at the base of the Race Control Tower.  In the meantime, you can read our Track Tour Guidelines on our website.

During the Sunday quiet hours the Region will also host a Level 1 Performance Driving Experience (PDX). This is for SCCA Members who want to take their street cars to the limit and learn the fast way around the twists and turns of Road Atlanta.  Cars must pass a technical inspection and be track-worthy.  Drivers must wear helmets and will be assigned instructors if they are new to the sport.  Read our PDX Information section to learn more.

Over the past decade, values for Brass Era automobiles (1896–1915) have followed a familiar but revealing pattern. The late 2010s saw steady appreciation as collectors sought early, historically significant cars with craftsmanship that…
