Whether you're a collector, a seller, or you just like to admire fancy cars, some people wait all year for Barrett-Jackson.
The 43rd annual car extravaganza kicks off Sunday at WestWorld of Scottsdale.
The weeklong event started as a charity car show back in the '60s and has evolved into an international auction of the most exclusive, hand-picked cars from Hollywood.
"What we've tried to create is Disneyland for car people," CEO Craig Jackson said.
Some 1,400 cars will sell at no reserve.
"Highest bid takes it," Jackson said. "Real no reserve. It will sell to the highest bidder. ... that creates excitement. That's why everybody comes to Barrett-Jackson. ... all you've gotta do is come here and be the last person with your hand in the air and that dream ride can be yours."
In addition to the no-reserve cars, there are 20 million-dollar cars in the "Salon Collection."
"We have a ton of celebrity cars," Jackson said. "For more than four decades we’ve been offering the world’s most valuable, collectible and coveted cars and we're proud to continue that tradition. With the Salon Collection offering in its third year, enthusiasts and collectors will once again experience the high quality offerings they expect from Barrett-Jackson."
There's something to see and do every night of the event.
"It's going to be an unbelievable week," Jackson said.
Last year, 1,343 cars sold at the auction, bringing in $108,766,069 in gross sales. A record 310,000 people attended the weeklong event.
Barrett-Jackson has raised more than $57 million for charity over the years.
