Rutherford County Corvettes would like to invite you and your club to attend our first ever all Corvette event on Saturday April 27, 2013. Rutherford County Corvettes have teamed up with the Forest City Owls minor league baseball organization to host this fabulous event at McNair field, home of the Owls. 100% of the proceeds for this event will go to Operation Homefront Carolinas to provide assistance for our troops and their families during deployment. This show will be held rain or shine. Registration 8am til noon, awards at 4. Awards for each generation, 50/50 cash drawing, baseball park concessions, over 50 local vendors, baseball park tours, live entertainment provided by Wiregrass, Poor Horatio and Rocky Yelton and the Hired Guns from 10 til 4. Friday night meet & greet at our host hotel for our out of town guests at Baymont Inn & Suites from 7pm til 9pm.
The blood connection mobile donation unit will be there collecting blood donations to assist a 5 year old little girl with a rare form of leukemia. Zumba demonstrations, Brazillian Ju Jitsu Demo, Karate ground attack demo, flash mobs, national guard military vehicle displays.
Bennetts Classic auto museum will be offering a special $5 deal for show visitors and the museum is just a half mile walk from the show site. There are several restaraunts in town offering Corvette show specials for the weekend. At the end of the show, the Forest City Police Dept will close down the streets of town and we will have a police escorted parade thru town.
