Event Description

This is our 16th year in Atlanta and we are expecting a huge turnout. This is the first time this event is taking place at this time in the calendar year. The Atlanta Motor Speedway will host the event, and this year will be better than ever. Last year’s Atlanta Spring Meet was cancelled due to the Covid 19 pandemic. As a result we have swapped the traditional venues hosting the Spring and Fall Meet. Spring Meet was in Bowling Green, Kentucky and the Fall Meet will be in Atlanta at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. We are expecting the the largest ImportAlliance event ever. We had almost 9000 cars and twice that many people in attendance at the last event in Atlanta. This year we are working hard to make it even better.
How are we going to make it better than ever...? The answer is with new programming. We have revamped the IA Builder Competition. Participants will be competing for a chance to receive the coveted IA Builder Excellence Award and cash prize of $1000.
With record setting numbers comes the problems of getting people into the event as quickly as possible. So this year will also feature some major changes to help the lines into the event go more smoothly. Once again we will be limiting the number of cars that actually can come inside to the meet, by selling "Infield Vehicle Tickets." These tickets will be limited in number and will be issued on a first come first serve basis. In order to park inside you will need both an infield vehicle ticket which will also be the vehicle driver's general admission ticket. We are also going to have spectator parking outside of the speedway to accommodate those individuals who want to be a part of the event but who don't want to bring their car inside. We believe that this will make things better for everyone. Please plan on joining us for the largest all import car meet in the United States. We guarantee you don’t want to miss it.

1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL

Introduced in late 1966 for a short, single-year production run, the 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL holds a special place in the “Pagoda” lineage (W113 series) as the rarest variant, with only about 5,196 units built. Positioned between the earlier 230SL and the later 280SL, the 250SL…

A Bite of History: by Mike Thies

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…

1948 Rover P3 Saloon

The 1948 Rover P3 Saloon marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of British motoring. Introduced in the immediate aftermath of World War II, the P3 was a bridge between prewar craftsmanship and the modern engineering ethos that would come to define Rover’s future. Although its styling retained many traditional elements, including an upright grille, separate fenders, and rear-hinged front…
