Event Description

Sorry everybody that was asking I forgot to post this up here this month.  It seems like we just finished our last one only 2 weeks ago and I guess I haven't fully recovered.

Anyway the next Middle Georgia SCCA Autocross is this Sunday the 9th at Henderson Stadium in Macon.  Everyone is invited, come out and participate or watch, but we would love to have you run with us.

If you would like to preregister, not required but it helps us, go to https:/www.motorsportreg.com/index.fcm/event/event.advert/uidEvent/D3517CAC-AEB6-23A2-8C756FDC4281524C.  If this link doesn't work you can get to it from our region website and click on the link for the event on the right hand side of the page.

Hope to see you there!

Hey Ray!

We have received a number of  calls asking if your club is having an Autocross this coming weekend.  If so, please update your events listing to let them know so they will attend; and we can get the word out to others big time!  Call Mike at 770-883-016 if we can help more. Chuck

PS. On your open Events page is an "Options"  button under which there are "Edit" and "Copy" commands. If you have other events or a club with meetings, add them and we will help with SEO, member recruitment and getting the word out.  CA

1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL

Introduced in late 1966 for a short, single-year production run, the 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL holds a special place in the “Pagoda” lineage (W113 series) as the rarest variant, with only about 5,196 units built. Positioned between the earlier 230SL and the later 280SL, the 250SL…

A Bite of History: 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

A Bite of History: by Mike Thies

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…
