Event Description

“My name is Robin Loose, I work for Kohl’s, I am also an active volunteer for Sunshine On A Ranney Day, a non-profit

organization that provides dream room makeovers and handicap bathrooms for children with long term illnesses. This will be Kohl’s third annual festival to support Sunshine. Every year our goal is to raise $10,000 or more so they can continue help families that are in need. All 14 local Kohl’s locations come together at the Cumming Kohl’s location and provide a festival for the community to enjoy. Last year we decided we wanted to incorporate something different into the festival, one of those ideas was a car show. We would love it if there was a possibility of having some cool classic cars there for show. The festival is going to be June 28th 1-5p at the Cumming Kohl’s. Please take a look at their web site for a complete look at what they do (sunshineonaranneyday.com).  I look forward to hearing from you soon.  Thanks Robin”

A Bite of History - Marcos

By Mike Thies

The Marcos was one of those wonderfully unconventional British sports car companies that could only have come from the postwar racing world. The company was founded in 1959 by Jem Marsh and aerodynamicist Frank Costin, with the name Marcos coming from Marsh and Costin. Costin brought serious aircraft and racing design experience to the project, and that influence showed up immediately in the cars: low frontal area, light weight,…
