Event Description

Join SVRA for a roval race weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Don’t miss this chance to race at NASCAR’s famous home track, the centerpiece of a lavish new motorsports complex and America’s Home for Racing! All SVRA classes are invited. Corvettes are being celebrated as the Feature. The Miata Heritage Cup is bound to be exciting on the roval track.

The historic Charlotte 1.5-mile banked oval built in 1959 by Bruton Smith was one of the first Super Speedways. Today, there’s not only an adjacent four-lane quarter-mile dragstrip, but an incredible “roval” track that combines portions of the banked oval Speedway with an infield road course to create a 2.28-mile, 17-turn “street circuit on steroids!” In 2019, the road course was updated by widening the backstretch chicane for safer side-by-side racing.

All SVRA classes are encouraged to experience the exciting Charlotte roval.

The “Car Guy’s Garage”

Step inside a place like this and you can almost hear the echoes of every wrench turned and every engine fired back to life. The light hums off the old signs, Route 66, Coca-Cola, Phillips 66, and the smell is that unmistakable mix of oil, leather, and stories. This isn’t just a garage. It’s a…
