Event Description

The Houston 1/2 Mile

Come join us and enjoy the best of both transportation worlds: airplanes and automobiles. Presented by the Texas Flying Legends Museum, The U.S. Mile, and  Hennessey Performance  this annual family friendly community event will feature: Car Show, Static Aircraft Displays, Kid Corral, Gift Drawings, Food, Live Entertainment, and The Houston ½ Mile.

The 1/2 Mile event invites motorcycles, vintage cares, race cars, performance street cars, land speed racers and spectators. ½ Mile Participants enjoy unlimited runs for the whole day and get to show what they’ve got in a ½ Mile. We will clock ¼ Mile speeds and ½ Mile speeds and spectators get to see these speeds displayed on our multiple custom Speed Signs located in several places down the track. This is the chance to set a record in Texas! Registration for the Houston ½ Mile is open and can be found on www.usmileracing.com.

1/2 Mile Registration $395

Spectator Admission $5 (donated to charity)

Children 3 and Under Admitted FREE

Car Show Admission $30
