The car show at the Watermelon Festival has been run by John Ostrowsky for the last 25plus years! All are welcome to bring their collector cars whether you enter or not. First come gets the best shade trees! This is a true gem of a car show and a piece of the old South type festival.

Held on the last full weekend in June, The Panhandle Watermelon Festival is a totally FREE festival, and a summer tradition in Historic Chipley, the county seat of Washington County, Florida.
