Many have seen my car at the local car shows and ask what model is it and where did you get it. Well it's a C6 I purchased in March of 07. , It is a 3LT Z51 w/ nav. it sticker price was 58,580. but dealing with Rick Hendricks in Duluth I got a good trade allowance ( almost what I paid for the 05 I traded in ). In 09 when the Grandsport came out, the C6 values dropped dramaticaly so trading wasn't an option. I contacted my friend, Don Claus, in Ft. Myers Florida, to custom build a set of extreme fenders like the ZR1 that would match up to the stock C6 front fascia.  We decided to go 6 inch wider overall on the rear, 4 inches wider overall on the front. The next problem was to source a set of wheels that would give me the 6 inch lips on the rear, 3.5 inch on the front that have the right offset to fit the body panels w/ Corvette bolt pattern. After several phone calls and lots of research, Savini took the dimensions and came up with a set of custom cut centers to fit the the new body. After finishing the body panels we made a set of carbon fiber side skirts (1.5 inches wider than the ZR1), a rear diffusior, to eliminate drag on the tail of the car.

Next  I hauled the parts to my friends body shop in Paducah Ky. to finish paint. We matched the paint to the fuel door and blocked down componets for a smooth finish. The assembly was done in my home garage with the car up on 4 jackstands. Here is a list of the mods to date
