Hi Walt,

I am new to this and this is my first car.  I would like to show it.  It is better to leave it original or should I try to start to customize the car?  I went to a local open show and my car was nicer than a lot and worse than others but one or two cars that placed were not as nice as mine.  Is it because it is an Edsel or because it is plain and simple?  Should I bling it up?  What is the standard in hobby?  My car is just clean and original not beat up inside or out the only thing I thought sure to do was maybe white walls and skirts but maybe I am going to the wrong kind of show?  Any advice?

Hey Walt!
This is a great idea! I think you said I can join even if the only Ford I have left is a 2009 Edge? I am helping my brother on his '29 sedans. :-)

A Bite of History: by Mike Thies

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…

1948 Rover P3 Saloon

The 1948 Rover P3 Saloon marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of British motoring. Introduced in the immediate aftermath of World War II, the P3 was a bridge between prewar craftsmanship and the modern engineering ethos that would come to define Rover’s future. Although its styling retained many traditional elements, including an upright grille, separate fenders, and rear-hinged front…
