well Atlanta Drag way has put out there schedule for the 2015 race season. we test and tune on march 27 & 28 and our first race is April 18. Now the push is on for us to find some sponsors and get ready for a great season.
now the push is on, we are getting ready for Bristol (eastern conference final) a week of racing. we have been saving up for this then had to get new batteries for our cart, so one thing after another, and we leave in little more than a week. so wish us luck in all aspects of this years trip, as we hope to make it as good as it has been in the past.
We wish you luck and thrills, too! Yes, I will be pleased to include you in the Peachtree Corners shows. I will be in touch as we get more organized. Mike
Hey mike we should be able to show at the Peachtree Corner's Festival just send us the info on it and we will put it on our calender. we want to get back out with the car more at shows (at races we don't get to talk with everyone as much, fast pace hurry and race still love it though) so keep us up to date with what is going on and we will try to get out and see everyone. this weekend we are going to Atlanta Dragway to race Sat. we will be on track at 9:30 am wish us luck.
I am committed to other locations but my prayers and wishes are for your success. Keep us posted on your progress. Are you available to show your car(s) at the Peachtree Corners' Festival, either or both days of Fathers' Day weekend?
hey hope everyone has been enjoying the sun shine when it is out haha. we are getting ready to go to Atlanta Dragway this weekend to run our 1st race the other race was rained out. we also will race on the 26th as well.I got to run at silver dollar raceway on 4/5/14 and won my race ( only the 2nd race in 7.90) i am soo happy and ready to get back to the track.
the first race for Atlanta drag way is march 29. we have our 1st test and tune there on march 22 hope the new motor comes in soon so we can put it back together and make some noise I can wait to feel the rumble and get pushed back in the seat when I hit the gas. stepping up to the 7.90 class this year and so ready to race.
Let us know how we might help. I will be at Caffeine & Octane today, even if it rains! How about posting up all the races that are scheduled for 2014? :-)
A Bite of History - Marcos
By Mike Thies
The Marcos was one of those wonderfully unconventional British sports car companies that could only have come from the postwar racing world. The company was founded in 1959 by Jem Marsh and aerodynamicist Frank Costin, with the name Marcos coming from Marsh and Costin. Costin brought serious aircraft and racing design experience to the project, and that influence showed up immediately in the cars: low frontal area, light weight,…

A Judge’s View from Pinehurst: Sandhills Motoring Expo 2026 by Mike Thies

Held Sunday, May 24, in the historic Village of Pinehurst, the event brought together more than 130 judged automobiles representing over 40 manufacturers, and from this judge’s point of view, it was a first-class field, a well-run operation, and a genuinely enjoyable day with owners who were proud to…
