Good Morning to you! I thought I would explain a few things that I have been asked a few times. So, here it goes:

 

What is CrowdFunding? Crowdfunding is fundraising, grass roots style. For my case, I need the funds to make my film. Most indie filmmakers do not have that kind of money to make their own films, so we need to raise that money. Crowdfunding, is in a sense, going door to door and telling about the project and collecting money one person at a time. But this way is online. So, I am reaching out to the car lovers community, one person at a time, and asking for support. I am using the web company INDIEGOGO.COM and through them I am able to accept Credit Cards and Pay Pal donations. We offer PERKS and/or INCENTIVES for funders to choose from. So, no donation is am empty one. Indiegogo, they do charge a fee. At the end of my campaign run (11/18) if I raise the full $100,000.00 they will get 4% of that. If by the end I do NOT raise the $100,000.00, they will get 9% of what I have raised. So, that is how it works. I have $98,644.00 to go and I really could use your help. Hi Mike, thanks. It is actually losing momentum. Good word you used. :) So, we can really use more exposure and keep trying to raise those funds. I just posted my 3rd video update last night. We shot on location where I will be filming the street drag race scenes. It was fun. Kinda scary in the middle of the street. LOL So, check it out and keep spreading the word. Thanks Mona

Let's see how many supporters for "Mom's Got Muscle" we can get to join your Group here.  The more folks we get discussing the project every day, even every hour, the more momentum we can generate. You can see every time someone enters a comment, the other members are notified.  It can work real well!  How is the Indiegogo doing?  M.
