1956 Porsche 356 Tribute.
This Speedster Tribute was built in the late ’90 into the early 2000’s by a seasoned, professional mechanic/builder in Stamford, Ct. He uses a Classic Motor Carriage body on a 1971 VW frame, a rebuilt, bored to 1996 cc VW engine. It is equipped with new California Performance dual carbs, a new clutch and a beautiful Bergan shroud! This particular build is a real throwback and demands the attention from everyone it passes.
The exterior is a deep Guards Red with the application of Flynn’s ceramic polish which enhances the durability of the paint job. The red paint just hugs every curve of this sharp Cabriolet. With chromed lotus style wheels, this car is just as elegant as it is sporty. Registered in Georgia as a 1971 VW Beetle, with only 8,000 miles this 4-speed manual shift is a great driver, light and very fast, it is also a proven show car with well over a hundred trophy wins. Extremely low miles, fast and attractive, it is ready for miles upon miles of enjoyment. As you can see it a head turner.
It has a show theme as “Stuart Little’s Car” as it is appears similar to the cartoon vehicle. All the Stuart Little accents go with the car and is ready to show and win more awards. Spectators, especially children are very of it. It has been in dozens of parades, several movies, a number of music videos and weddings, and was Santa’s ride for years in the Cumming, GA Christmas celebration!
Whether you're a James Dean fan, German car enthusiasts, or simply exude enough swagger that you need a car that does the same, this '58 model tribute for sale is for you!
