1968 Dodge Dart GT
We purchased this Dart GT new in Forest City, N.C. on November 07, 1968.
In early 1970, we sold the Dart to a local resident who owned the car for the next 25 years. Never really being out of site nor out of mind, we would often see “Our Little Dart” and long to have her back some day.
In July 1995, we were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to purchase the little GT back, which we did. The first restoration was completed that year.
The second was completed in the fall of 2004 by Ronnie Hodge Restorations who specializes in MOPAR’s.
The car is painted in the original color of Turbine Bronze (mm1). The engine is 100% stock and the original spare is still in the trunk.
As you can tell our little Dart has lived a very sheltered life.
We are very pleased to have our Dart GT Home Again II.
