Lavonia Georgia, 1980. It was before the 100 lap Rudolph Martin Memorial Championship race. I was the fastest qualifier and led every lap that night. It was either Late Model or Limited Late Model, I raced this car in both divisions at different tracks. The only difference was the tire width and engine size. I won 7 or more races that year at Lavonia. It was known as Charley's Raceway that year. 1980 was a good year, I won around 25 main events at four different tracks.
