Hagerty, an automotive lifestyle brand renowned for its commitment to car culture, acquired the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in 2021. Since then, the organization has focused on preserving the event's rich heritage while introducing fresh elements to enhance the experience for attendees. The 2024 edition exemplified this balance, maintaining the event's core appeal while embracing new opportunities for engagement.

The Amelia Concours  showcased over 275 historically significant vehicles, each meticulously selected to represent the pinnacle of automotive design and engineering. The event's prestige was further elevated by the presence of notable figures from the automotive world, including designers, engineers, and racing legends.

A standout moment was the awarding of Best in Show honors. The Concours d'Elegance award was presented to a 1947 Delahaye 135MS Narval Cabriolet, while the Concours de Sport accolade went to a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO. These awards underscored the event's dedication to celebrating both the elegance and performance of classic automobiles.

There were several aspects of the weekend that stood out. Hagerty introduced new events and experiences, including expanded seminars, interactive displays, and driving experiences, catering to a broader audience and enriching the overall attendee experience. The event emphasized inclusivity, attracting a diverse group of attendees ranging from seasoned collectors to young enthusiasts. Initiatives such as the Cars & Community segment provided accessible entry points for all automotive admirers.

Collaborations with leading automotive brands and organizations enhanced the event's prestige and provided attendees with exclusive access to the latest industry developments. The presence of Broad Arrow Auctions, for instance, added a dynamic marketplace component, with sales reaching impressive figures.  Comprehensive media coverage, including features in prominent publications and extensive social media engagement, amplified the event's reach and attracted a global audience.  The event's success was highlighted by record auction sales, with total figures reaching $183.8 million, indicating robust interest and participation.

While introducing new elements, Hagerty clearly maintained the event's core traditions, ensuring that long-time attendees and participants continued to feel a deep connection to the Concours' storied past. The 2024 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance, under Hagerty's production, successfully honored the event's rich heritage while embracing innovation and inclusivity. Through strategic enhancements and a commitment to community engagement, Hagerty ensured that the Concours not only maintained its esteemed status but also set new benchmarks for future iterations.
