Road Atlanta has more events coming this season the WERE Cycle Jam June 2-4, NASA SE returns Jun 17, My friends from HSR and the Mitty September 15-17 and the long awaited Motul Petit lemans Oct 4-7.  You can get a complete list of all the events and preorder tickets at https://www.roadatlanta.com/events/event-schedule or stay tuned to Lee’s corner for details.

I and the crew had the pleasure, the honor of participating in the Armed Forces Day Car Show at Lilburn Park. I met some wonderful people there, especially a bunch called V-Dog.  The kind folks take donated dogs, spend $2000.00 training them and give them to disabled veterans with PTSD. The soldiers who risked their lives, prisoners for months in their own homes, unable to have any other relationships, find a ray of hope with a 4 legged assist dog.  If you would like to check out the services V Dog provides or maybe send them a couple bucks to help out.

As always, you can check out pictures of the show at https://southeastwheelsevents.ning.com/photo/album/list

We also have a couple of great car shows coming up in the future.  The first June 3, is a crown jewel in the car show world, the Streetside Classics Kick OFF the Summer Car Show June 3.  It will be the who’s who of the car shows, anybody who is anybody will be there or be missed.  If you have never visited StreetSide Classic in Lithia Springs, be prepared to be amazed, 3 acres of some of the most beautiful, pristine, restored automobile on the face of Mother Earth.  This is the show you bring your kids and try to find ‘Famous Cars”. I have been to 44 car shows this season and I promise, it will be one of the most Fantastic Family Events of the season. Yes, I said FAMILY and I meant it. Folks it is an honor and a privilege to be able to write Lee’s Corner, I did not know how many of you were readers, until I got sick last week and my boss Mike Thies, started getting inquiries asking what happen to me. I had a touch of the flu like bug, that put me in the hospital for a couple days. The doctors pumped me full of antibiotics, fluid and more breathing treatments I could count but, I’m home.  Now every Monday, I will bring you the news, who’s who and current events.  Thank You. As I say, May the sunshine and the trophies be many, until next time.
