Thank you for all the great photos you have great eye and I have a special place in my heart for VW's. 1n 1966 I took my drivers test in mom's new 66 1300. The day it came home from the dealer I immediately tore into it and started to install the parts dad and I had ordered for it. First thing was the McCullough Engineering supercharger and Abarth exhaust. Then I tore into the suspension, re-clocking the front and rear bars lowering the car 2 inches Installed the fattest sway bar at the front and a rear camber compensator. Koni shocks went in to keep the 185 Continentals on the ground. The last thing was an absolute need where we lived in New Hampshire, a gas powered heater.

Welcome Dennis & Lisa!!
Welcome over to our website! Thank you for posting all the wonderful photos of the VWs. We will enjoy them so much.  We will accept as many pictures as you can provide. Thank you, thank you!

Whether you are looking to attend events or when you are interested in helping promote and publicize events, we are pleased to help bring a broader awareness about auto, truck and motorcycle events throughout the US. There are so many things we can do together to increase attention to our mutual interest in "wheels". The more members and participants you get to join and "RSVP", the higher ranking I can push for your club/event on the search engines. Please note that we provide a unique URL for all events you post here, and this is good to use in emails and other links.

We are eager to see even more photos (and maybe videos) of your extensive VW collection, as well as the various other vehicles you favor, and all the events you enjoy, too. We want as many photos as we can get. You may have heard that we are collecting One Million photos of cars, bikes & trucks! Please announce this at any shows you attend, as we want to get the word out! It is good to write about your "wheels" adventures on the blog, as we all enjoy stories from our members.
As you can see, one of the real strengths of our website is the feature that any member can add events whenever they find one that have not been listed! You do not have to "submit" through emails or the postal service, etc.
If I can help at all with any of your projects, call me at 770-883-0160.
Sincerely,
Mike Thies

Thanks for Joining us and sharing your photos. There is so much you can do here. I strongly recommend you organize your up loads into albums, it will mike life easier if you want to find it. You can upload 100 photos at a time, as many times as you wish. Each Photo gets an individual URL. You can also post Videos. If you want to start a private club you can do so in the clubs or groups area, And of course our Calendar is the back bone of our world it is member driven. We would like the promoters to join and list if you know of a show and have all the details please post it and let the promoter know about it. If You have any questions you can contact me or Mike Theis.

1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL

Introduced in late 1966 for a short, single-year production run, the 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL holds a special place in the “Pagoda” lineage (W113 series) as the rarest variant, with only about 5,196 units built. Positioned between the earlier 230SL and the later 280SL, the 250SL…

A Bite of History: 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

A Bite of History: by Mike Thies

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…

1948 Rover P3 Saloon

The 1948 Rover P3 Saloon marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of British motoring. Introduced in the immediate aftermath of World War II, the P3 was a bridge between prewar craftsmanship and the modern engineering ethos that would come to define Rover’s future. Although its styling retained many traditional elements, including an upright grille, separate fenders, and rear-hinged front…
