Pam, if ( and I do mean if) we meet in 2099 I will be riding in the big black 1956 Cadillac Hearse (like the one I drove around the Bay Area in 1969). Watch for me. By the way, I attended the very first heshey  meet with my Father. I remember it well.

You are spot on, Bert. These big, beautiful Classics, with a capital " C ", values have been sliding. The people who coveted these icons of the '20s and '30s are aging out. Many are selling their collections and new buyers are putting their money into the elusive dream cars of their youth. Note the values of a good C2 Corvette. Alas, even with the " bargain " prices they are still out of reach of my bank account, too. May be we will meet up at Amelia Island, 2099 in our funky old cars of a far, bygone era ..... Capturing these fine cars and sharing is as close as I can get. It is a wonderful way we can be a part of the hobby.  Thanks for watching and commenting, Bert.  Have a Happy and Healthy 2026.

That car was 200K in the 80’s. Nobody wants them anymore. Sad. I would have bought that car in another lifetime. Maybe in my next life. Thanks for sharing Pam.

Over the past decade, values for Brass Era automobiles (1896–1915) have followed a familiar but revealing pattern. The late 2010s saw steady appreciation as collectors sought early, historically significant cars with craftsmanship that…
