Starting A 1903 Cadillac At the 2020 AACA Eastern Nationals

Cadillac Motor Car Co. was the outgrowth of the Henry Ford Company which was reorganized as the Detroit Automobile Company and was slated for liquidation. Henry Leland's machine shop built motors for Olds and developed an improved design which powered the first Cadillac. Before Cadillac offered the first electric starter, this is how one brought a gasoline car to life.
