Join BHC on Saturday, October 9, 2021, for the 2021 Fall Road Ramble. Participants can start at the Berks History Center and ramble through Muhlenberg, Longswamp, and Alsace Townships. The route narrative covers the history of local towns and numerous historic sites such as the Berks History Center, Reading Fairgrounds, Madeira Air Field, Fleetwood, the Dryville Hotel, East Penn Manufacturing, the Mertztown Train Station, and much more.
The 2021 Fall Road Ramble runs from 10am – 4pm and concludes at the William Penn Fire Tower on Skyline Drive. The BHC Fall Road Ramble Packet includes a Road Ramble Tour Booklet, a Navigator’s Guide, information on our contests & sponsors, a narrative CD or USB, and a Berks History Center 2021 Fall Road Ramble Participant bumper sticker. Tickets cost $35/car for BHC members and $45/car for non-members making this a great family activity.
BHC Members must call the Berks History Center to get the member price. All others can buy tickets online at www.berkshistory.org or to purchase with a credit card, call The Berks History Center at (610) 375-4375 on Wednesdays to Saturdays from 9am – 3pm.
Pick up your BHC 2021 Fall Road Ramble Packet at the Berks History Center Henry Janssen Library parking lot on Friday 10/8/21 from 2pm-5pm or Saturday 10/9/21 from 8am – 10am.
