Free On Site Camping Announced For World Crown 300
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

JEFFERSON, GA (November 2, 2010) - So you say you want to attend all four days of the World Crown 300 at Gresham Motorsports Park - the $55 four-day discount advance tickets are a great deal - but you can't afford a big hotel bill to go with the tickets? Well, load up your motor home, travel trailer or tent and head for the ultra-fast Jefferson, GA half-mile oval because GMP has announced that on-site camping for the 27th-annual stock car event will be free of charge. There will be several designated areas for fans camping this year's 'Crown.' Campers are encouraged to be self-contained as the spots do not feature electricity, water or sewer provisions. Portable rest rooms will be placed throughout the camping area while RV sanitation services will be available for a fee. Contained camp fires only will be permitted at the World Crown 300. Camping spots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Wednesday, November 10 at 10 a.m.

An overnight parking area for team toter home and recreational vehicles will be provided as the GMP garage area will be secured with no acess/parking/camping during non-race hours each day. Meanwhile, GMP today also restated that Trackside Parking throughout the World Crown 300 weekend would be sold on a first-come, first-served basis each day of the event. Trackside Parking is open to all cars, pick-up trucks and vans - no oversize vehicles, box trucks or recreational vehicles. The cost of Trackside Parking for Friday, Saturday and Sunday - November 12-14 - is $25 each day. Trackside Parking opens Friday and Sunday at Noon and at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 13. On-track action for the 2010 World Crown 300 weekend will roll off with a two-hour Super and Pro Late Model practice on Thursday, November 11 from 5-7 p.m. That practice is free of charge to the viewing public in the GMP Trackside Parking area. Friday's action will be highlighted by US Legends International Legends and Bandoleros, Mini-Cup, Outlaw Late Model and Renegade Street Stock division World Crown championship events. Super Late Model qualifying for Sunday's World Crown 300 will close out Friday's on-track activities. The Pro Late Model division will practice throughout the day Saturday, November 13 at GMP with the World Crown 125 later that evening. World Crown championship Truck and Mini-Stock division events will also highlight Saturday's racing action.

Sunday's World Crown 300 event will begin with the gates swinging open at Noon. Opening Ceremonies are set for 1:30 p.m. with the green flag falling at 2 p.m. Reserved Seat Tickets for the 2010 World Crown 300 at GMP are on sale now by calling 706-367-9461 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and also available on line 24/7 at http://greshammotorsportspark.ticketforce.com/
