CANCELLED - The American Street Rodders cruise-in scheduled for Saturday evening has been cancelled. Several factors led to this decision. All businesses in town will be closed, Braselton's festival, parade, and fireworks show at the same time, plus the weather forecast were considered. Our July meeting will be held at the Hoschton Cafe Monday evening (7/6) at 7PM, social hour and meal at 6. We will be finalizing plans for our September show.
The “American Street Rodders” Car Club is a family oriented organization. The club was created to provide a forum for individuals who enjoy sharing their interest in automobiles, reflecting the Cruisin' 50's & 60's era, and who will enjoy and seek the fellowship of other individuals. If you are interested in becoming a member, contact a member or download an application form from our membership page.
The Club is made up of people of all ages, with cars of all makes, models & years. All the Members have at least one of the following things in common: they enjoy cool cars, fun times, good food, great friends, and doing things to give something back to the community.
Remember that old Camaro you used to cherish, the Corvette you dreamed about as a teenager or the oldie-but-goodie Chevrolet Impala that served as the first “family” car? In what will seem like a trip back in time, these and many other classics, customs, street rods, imports and trucks, each in mint condition, will roll into the Downtown Square of the City of Hoschton each 1st Saturday, April - Oct. from 5 pm - 9:00 pm.

Why It’s Hard to Recruit Younger Members to Volunteer Car Clubs, and How to Fix It
Car clubs have long been the social engine of the collector car world, bringing people together to swap parts, plan road trips, attend shows, and preserve automotive history. But in recent years, many volunteer-run car clubs have struggled with a pressing problem: recruiting and retaining younger members. The concern isn’t just about numbers, it’s about sustainability.
